A tall widely cultivated Asian herb (Cannabis sativa of the family Cannabaceae, the hemp family) that is cultivated for its tough bast fiber and edible seeds and oil and that is often separated into a tall loosely branched species (C. sativa) and a low-growing densely branched species (C. indica). NOTE: Cultivated hemp is often distinguished from cannabis by possessing very low levels of the psychoactive substance THC. (www.merriam-webster.com)
Hemp is a crop full of oils with potential health benefits, according to a new study in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry. A derivative of cannabis (marijuana), hemp has been used for millennia in textiles, medicine and food, by people all over the world.
CBD Hemp has been touted for a wide variety of health issues, but the strongest scientific evidence is for its effectiveness in treating some of the cruelest childhood epilepsy syndromes. In numerous studies, CBD was able to reduce the number of seizures, and in some cases it was able to stop them altogether. Recently the FDA approved the first ever cannabis-derived medicine for these conditions, Epidiolex, which contains CBD.
We made Hemp a big part of our lives; adding it to food, using skincare made from hemp and even taking some everyday as part of our vitamin routine. I’m no scientist, but let me just say I could see a physical and mental difference in the whole family.

My Personal FAVORITE….Pillows:
The CBD Pillow uses a dispersion of microencapsulated cannabidiol. Microencapsulation is a new, innovative process in which microscopic droplets of CBD are wrapped with a protective polymeric coating. These miniature containers protect the CBD from evaporation, oxidation and contamination until their release is triggered. Once applied to the fabric in the CBD Pillow, the microcapsules break through friction and release the CBD to be absorbed through skin and hair follicles.
Isolates, Tinctures & Topicals:
CBD is isolated and then refined to strip out any additional cannabinoids, terpenes, and plant components found in the hemp plant. The final product is a fine white powder that contains around 99% cannabidiol. Isolates contain only one cannabinoid: CBD.
I hope you enjoy testing out these products, from one family to another, I promise you won’t be disappointed!
